Amber Oak: Golden amber Wide Plank Oak
Prefinished engineered oak in 8″ to 10″ planks with golden amber color. Shipped nationwide from Auburn, Georgia.
Amber Oak is a wide plank engineered floor finished in a rich golden amber with lively grain. Each plank has a select American oak top layer chosen for its grain, on a three-layer cross-built core that keeps wide boards flat as humidity changes.
Planks run 8 to 10 inches wide and up to 10 feet long, so a room reads open and calm with fewer seams. It arrives prefinished, so once it’s down, it’s ready to live on.
This floor is new oak, sustainably sourced — not reclaimed. It’s for customers who want wide, finished oak in a specific color without the variation of reclaimed wood.

Amber Oak Flooring, In The Room
Real oak varies from plank to plank. Expect natural differences in grain and knots across the floor — order a sample to see the color in your light.
Installing Wide Plank Oak Flooring
We supply the flooring; your flooring contractor or an experienced DIYer handles the install. Let the boards acclimate in the room for several days before installing, with the HVAC running at normal living conditions, and follow standard hardwood flooring practice for subfloor prep and moisture testing. Random lengths install like any tongue-and-groove floor — stagger the end joints and pull boards from several boxes as you go so color mixes evenly.
