The Darkest Barn Wood We Carry
Deep, weathered reclaimed barnwood in an engineered plank — rich browns, heavy character, and a lot of history. Shipped nationwide from Auburn, Georgia.
Dark rustic barnwood flooring is made from boards that spent the longest stretch in the weather. Decades of sun and rain pushed the color deep into browns and near-blacks, and left the surface full of checks, saw marks, and nail stains.
We supply it as an engineered floor so all that character sits on a stable base. It’s a floor that sets the mood of a room on its own, and it pairs well with brick, iron, and big timber.

Dark Rustic Barnwood Flooring, Installed
Every board is one of a kind. Expect natural variation in color and grain, plus knots and old nail marks — that’s the wood’s history, not a defect.
Installing Reclaimed Wood Flooring
We supply the flooring; your flooring contractor or an experienced DIYer handles the install. Let the boards acclimate in the room for several days before installing, with the HVAC running at normal living conditions, and follow standard hardwood flooring practice for subfloor prep and moisture testing. Random lengths install like any tongue-and-groove floor — stagger the end joints and pull boards from several boxes as you go so color mixes evenly.
